Reading your owners manual (link provided at below) , i see you can delete / edit points one at a time or a faster way format the C Card.
** formatting the c card instructions >
1.) press MENU , move the shuttle point knob to highlight USER POINTS , and press ENT . 2.) move the shuttle point knob to highlight USER C CARD, and press ENT . 3.) move the shuttle point knob to highlight FORMAT , and press ENT . 4.) a popup warning window will pop up to confirm you want to format the user C card . 5.) select YES , and press ENT to confirm , (select NO otherwise) . NOTE : formatting the user c card erases all files previously saved on the c card .

1. Turn your Nuvi unit off, remove any SD cards from the SD card slot
and make sure that the unit is not plugged into any computer. Step
2. Place a fingertip on the upper left hand corner of the touch screen
and keep it there while turning the unit on, a prompt should read " Do
you really want to start in maintenance mode?" Step 3. Select the yes button. Step 4. Enter your PIN if enabled. Step 5. Main Maintenance Mode screen should have 4 selections: System information View Diagnostics Clear User data Clear Waypoints Step 6. Choose "Clear Waypoints". After some time the unit should reboot.
Hello, A Standard-Horizon CP180 Chartplotter can recieve information from an external AIS device with a NMEA data wire connection. The cable from the NMEA output of the AIS would be connected to "Port 1" (Page 18 of the CP180 user manual) on the CP180 and then the CP180 menu settings configured to show AIS targets, data, etc. (Page 21 on the CP180 user manual)
To edit an existing waypoint:Or MOB
1. From the Home screen, select Information > User Data > Waypoints.
2. Select the waypoint you want to edit.
3. Select Edit Waypoint.
4. Select the waypoint attribute you want to change (Name, Symbol, Depth, Water Temp,
Comment, or Position).
To delete a waypoint or an MOB:
1. From the Navigation chart, use the map pointer ( ) to highlight the waypoint or the MOB
on the Navigation chart.
From the Home screen, select Information > User Data > Waypoints.
2. Select the waypoint or the MOB you want to delete.
3. Select Review > Delete (The Review button is only shown when more than one waypoint
is in the vicinity.)
from the main menu select FIND. Select WAYPOINTS, press the menu button ( bottom on LHS of unit) Select DELETE from the menu, choose what you want to delete ( e.g blue flag waypoints) and hit the enter button ( rocker on front unit). Good luck !
The contours are not coming from the routes and waypoints, they are coming from the mapping software. You must load all the map segments at once to your unit. You can upload routes and waypoints separately and they will not erase the other ones already on the GPSr unit.
