I lost the right side of my screen. I go in to the align mode and purposely tap to the left of the dots. Then it thinks you are tapping the right side, even when you are not. Sounds like you need to tap above the lower dots.

On the keyboard press the window flag, "s" for settings, tap system, screen or use the arrows buttom to go to "screen". Tap "Align Screen" and follow instructions.

Ok not turning on is kind of vauge.  This is what I would recomend trying.  First off pull the battery and put it back in it should automatically boot in about 5 seconds.  If this does not work use the power button slider on the side of the phone.  If that does not work use your stylus in the reset button found on the bottom of the phone on the left hand side this should restart the phone after you remove the stylus.  If that dosent work you can do the master reset and try that.  If that dosent work I would say that you are out of luck with your phone.

Touch screen suddenly stopped responding!

Make sure your device is not locked. Lock button is the "Slide Switch" lower left side of device. If locked, will show a lock in upper right part of screen. Will unlock when you pull down the keyboard. This is also a very good feature to prevent accidentally dialing when getting in/out of your car etc...To unlock, slide switch to middle position.

Samsung i730 phone how to do a hard reset

so you lost the stylus i would suggest finding a replacement one because that is kind of important however there are many blue tooth devices that require a stylus and you can get pen stylus combo sets.  To do a master reset on the i730 you are going to hold down the power button slider place the stylus in the rest hole on the bottom of the phone then hold for five to ten seconds and release the power slider and then remove the stylus from the reset button.  This should work and the phone is very particular about order and timing.  You might have to try it several different times but this should work for you=)
