You have a split pressure switch hose by the sound of it remove the hose from your pressure switch and where it connects to the bowl take the hose to your nearest parts supplier and purchase a new length refit and test make sure there is no water in the bowl before you connect hose.Hope this helps you

I have a f&p Smartdrive 708 washer that is leaking water underneath the machine. It is only a small leak at the moment. Could the seals be worn out?

Hi you need to identify where the water is coming from three main places are 1: pump seal 2: a hole in the drain hose 3: Main bowl seal my advice is turn it off at the wall lean it over and have a look underneath and clean floor area. does the base of the main motor look clean if yes its probably not the main bowl seal. So its down to the last two if your models got the plastic removable cover on the front its easy to remove it and watch where the water is leaking from my "guess" is a pump seal you will see it drip/ splash of the pump fan during drain/ spin cycle Be very careful to turn off at wall as there is voltage around these things even when power is off at the machine panel

Water leaking on my fisher paykel washer. does it

Hi, It is due to a split in the flexible hose from the bowl to the pump. When machine is working, the split opens and closes, but when not operating it can be closed up enough to prevent seeing it leaking. .

Fisher Paykel GW52-F washer, leaking, but when taking the back off and partially filling with a bucket to test no sign of internal leaking, suspect water coming over the top, any suggestions?

Real good chance it is a split in the flexible hose from the bowl to the pump. When machine is working, the split opens and closes, but when not operating it can be closed up enough to prevent seeing it leaking.

Leaking

The leaks in a washing machine could be coming from many different places in the washer.

The first place you need to check is behind the washer, check the two fill hoses and the water mixing valve.

The next thing to do is to remove the front panel, set the washer on the regular cycle and turn it on to start filling.

Use a drop light and check all the hoses under the washer as the washer is filling. Make sure to keep your hands away from any moving parts.

If the hoses are ok, check the pump for leaks. When the bearings in the pump wear out, that is when the pump will get noisy and that could cause your Maytag top load washing machine water leaks.

Another place that the washer could leak water from, is the stem & seal on the holding tank. When washer leaks water from the stem & seal, the water leaks down the center of the transmission.

When the stem & seal need to be replace, the tub bearing has to be replace at the same time. This is an expensive repair if you have to pay someone to do it. If you do it yourself it will cost you about $110

tricky one this but it a drop type filter at the rear left corner in the base of the appliance.to clear it,you must pull the machine into an available space, remove the lower back panel and tilit the machine forward.place a mixing bowl or similar under the rubber hose and release the clip.the water and debris will fall into the bowl..refit the hose and clip.refit back panel and test.check for leaks
