I know this is, evil, cruel, but there is a HUGE issue with this, check out this link, it explains it, http://mhowardx.blogspot.com/2008/12/guitar-hero-world-tour-drum-kit.html
My personal recommendation is to return the whole kit, and get a replacement....** this is hopefully GH WT **
Let me know how it goes
Thanks
Justin

What plugs do I plug an xbox360 into on a magnavox dvd player

Jesus, not even the red white and yellow hookups? Oh, man, sorry, but I would need the model of the DVD player...and how did you hook up the DVD player if it doesn't have the red white and yellow hookups? just curious. Also I would highly recommend getting a new TV outright. If your tv is that old, it doesn't have HD, and that essentially defeats the whole purpose of having a powerhouse like the xbox 360. If you want the dvd player hooked up, give me the model number, but if you want a new tv, give me a budget and I am positive I can direct you to something reasonable.
P.S. (being tech savvy isn't a requirement for the newer tvs. in my honest opinion, You have to be a WIZARD in order to get all the inputs to convert to the correct format so it can be displayed on the older tv, so hanging onto the old tv is actually more trouble than a new one. Just saying.)

I just need to see a visual connection of xbox 360 to bacig flat screen tv.Eight now i am not getting a picture.Ihave regular x box hooked up and iam getting a picture for that.

First check the AV audio/video wires to determine if you have SD or HD wires. If you have 3 plugs (red, white, and yellow) then you will get standard definition (SD). If there is 6 wires (2 red, white, yellow, blue, and green) then you can connect High Definition (HD) and you can also connect SD as well. Now what you need to look @ if you have the wires with 6 ends (component HD AV wire), is on the part where you plug into the back of the Xbox 360, there is a switch on the box that is on the wire. It should say "TV" and "HDTV". If you have the component wires hooked up (5 wires) then select "HDTV" if you have only the 3 wires (red white yellow) for SD hooked up switch it to "TV". That is the first thing to check. The next thing to check is the way the wires are hooked up. If connecting HD, you very easily could've mixed up the 2 red wires, 1 is video and the other is audio. The way to determine which is video and which is audio is, for video, the actual plug itself is gray with a stripe of color which indicates where it goes on your tv, the audio plugs are solid white or red. And remember that the yellow plug is not used for HD setup. If you have a Xbox 360 that has the HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) input, then I would recommend using that to hook up your console. With the HDMI its only 1 wire to hook up and is extemely easy to set up. The HDMI wire transfers audio and video all in 1. There is only spot it can fit into, and its located right next to where you plug in the AV wire on the console. To me, the HDMI is "cleaner" looking b/c its only 1 wire.

We have rockband 2 for Wii and the drums are blinking

Hello.
The drums are blinking because the drums have not found the wii. The blinking means that they are still in pairing mode. With the drums you may have gotten a small usb box that you plug into the wii with a small black button on there. Shut the drums off and then turn them on again. When you turn the drums on, press the small black button on the usb box so the drums and the box are both in pairing mode so they can find eachother. Hope this helps!

The drum set for guitar hero world tour will not sync with the xbox 360. We've played numerous times with no trouble, but it will not work today. We have changed the batteries.

Take the Drum pad apart and re-solder the connector plug.
it has a broken solder joint there due to the vibration. I have
fix many of them with this same problem.

Drum set for xbox 360 rock band 2

to sync: hit the sync button on the drum set and the xbox at the same time, you may have to hold the one on the set.

other problem: make sure you have good batteries in it, make sure the set is synced with the television, go into the freeplay mode under the drum trainer and do a drum roll on your yellow pad- if it skips some notes you either have to deal with the bad pads or you can send it in or get a new set all in all

I had guitar hero since xmas and yellow symbol not working

How did you break the wire?
The best I can suggest is that since the drum kit is still under warranty, take it back to the store you bought it from and get it replaced. Be sure to take of the selotape beforehand since it will look like the drum kit has been tampered with.

I can't get the yellow drum to work on my guitar hero world tour?

I had the same problem with 3 of the exploders. When it starts to get colder out more static builds up. Next thing you know you fried you guitar. You should ground yourself out on something metal before you pickup the guitar. I have a gas line to the fire place I touch; a metal water faucet would do the trick to.
