Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
99% of the time this is a heat sync problem. your GPU and CPU may need to be reseated as well. I run a home based computer repair business in southern california and had the same problem and also fixed it. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like me to fix this. Usually takes no more than 1 hour to repair.

Hello. You need to contact Sony. Your system has a major system error and can not easily be repaired. You can ask them what they recommend about the game, but from what I hear they will not send it back to you if you send the system to them for repair. In a case like this, I gues I would rather lose out on $60 for the game if the PS3 is still in warranty. If not in warranty then I would just open it and get the game then sell the PS3 for parts. I wish you luck. Thank you.
