JVC KDS-30 usb problems

It looks like the JVC will control the iPhone as a music player through the USB. However, unless the YouTube app or another app can give you that same control, the simple answer is to use an aux cable (3.5mm stereo/headphone jack on both ends). The problem with this solution is you will have to select your videos and/or music through the phone. Unless you have a YouTube playlist set up, I would not recommend you do this while driving.

It is caused by miswiring or shorted speaker line. You need to take it to service if it already happened three times. If you are a tech, reply back for possible reset procedure. No guarantee though.

Just got this unit and had a similar issue, but mine was getting the iphone to play at all. On advice of the sales rep I bought the kit required to view movies with your iphone. The kit plug into the back of your radio using rca jacks and then utilizes the usb port. I can now use my iphone to play audio, movies and utilize i heart radio.

The eject button is just above the JVC logo on the display panel.
When you press eject and if it displays "NO EJECT", then it is locked. Press and hold CD and Power (ATT) for more than two seconds.

jvc radio no use lock code, try push reset botton, is a little boton-- push with a pen tip for 2 second.

i have the same model and yes our radio doesnt support the bluetooth feature they did exactly as you assumed they used the same face for the model that supports that bluetooth feature.it is not even bluetooth capable which is unfortunate...if your wanting a radio/head unit what ever you want to call it i useful tip is to make sure it has the bluetooth written on the face such as this....

keep in mind thats not always the case but in most cases it means it has built in bluetooth...but it might just mean it is "BLUETOOTH CAPABLE" meaning you can buy an adapter to make it work. just be sure to ask if it has built in blutooth. most higher end models have built in bluetooth.
