Question about Logitech QuickCam Communicate Personal Web Camera
We purchased and installed the Logitech Quikcam S5500 successfully and it works for a day or two and then fails on us. We use it on a Dell with Windows XP. We have already uninstalled, reinstalled and downloaded the updated drivers from logitech's website. We have already exchanged the webcam for a new one thinking that it was defecting. However this is the second one with the same problem. How do I fix it? thanks.
If you cannot see a device in Device Manager, than the device is not properly attached, which means that it is possible that USB port is not working properly. Try attaching it in different USB port. If you know that USB port is functioning properly (other devices that you attach to it work), than camera might be dead.
