We have a Moen, Single Lever kitchn faucet with right side sprayer. No matter how far I turn the lever, I can not get any cold water. Is this an internal part problem? Something that needs replaced? Thanks

The hot side sounds like it has some junk in the hot side blocking the hot water from coming through check hot water line to make sure that it is coming through down below and if so you would need to take it apart and try to get the junk out of that side of the faucet.
The water supply should have no bearing on the working motion of the faucet cartridge or handle. On both models of Moen faucet, the handle needs to be hooked under the cartridge's top cam bearing. It is a bit tricky sometimes. Here's the parts view for 7300 and 7310Moen Kitchen faucet. Parts view for 7100 Moen.

No the length doesn't matter. When you turn the faucet on, you also fill the hose to the sprayer, and it may expand slightly, causing the sprayer to move a little. Is the drip from the end of the spout at the aearator? or is it around the faucet lever. If it is the lever, you should be able to tighten it slightly. If it's the end, make sure your aearator is clean.
This needs a new cartridge and may only cost you a couple of bucks at your local plumbing store. If you do this yourself, just make sure you turn off the water to both the cold and the hot and you will probably just need a allen wrench, screw driver and maybe a cresent wrench.
I had the same problem with my Aberdeen single lever with a pull-out sprayer a few months back. If you are the original owner of the faucet, it's under warranty; you shouldn't have to pay for any parts. Call: 1-800-BUY-MOEN (1-800-289-6636) and tell Customer Service what the problem is. They will send you the Handle Mechanism Kit at no charge. (Mine was part #93980 for my Aberdeen faucet, but yours may be a different part number.) It's tricky to take apart and get back together but my husband and I have zero plumbing experience and got it all fixed in about 20 minutes. The Moen.com website also has exploded parts diagrams of all their faucets so you can identify exactly what part you need, and they have some little videos and slideshows to show how to replace parts. If you can't reach Customer Service on the phone, you can go to "Contact Us" on their website and email them a description of your problem.
There is a nut in the handle mechanism that needs to be snugged up (adjusted). There is an exploded view of this faucet at http://www.moen.com/shared/pdf/7430pt.pdf
