Question about Vanguard International Blue Flame - Large Open Flame Mid-Size Heater
This is a 3 grate propane heater, flames out in front of the middle grate and even up over top of the grate, the other 2 grates turn red like supposed to with no flaming. I tried blowing out with air compressor but did not help.
I have the same problem except it is two of the grates (only have low setting now). All 3 grates come on when you initially lite the heater but after a minute or so the medium and high grates begin to blow flames over the top. My Vanguard wall heater is not the same. Model Number VP1600E.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Make sure the grate is in the holder like the others, and nothing is blocking the bottom of it. They often slip back where the fire misses the inside where it should hit.
