Question about Computers & Internet
I currently have an oldish HP Pavillion computer running windows '98. I have been loathe to change as I am due to relocate home in 6 months and will change my desktop then.
Last week when I went to boot up my computer it did so, but the screen appeared to be in "safe mode" although it didn't say safe mode anywhere on the screen.
My mouse now doesn't apear on the screen and where pages used to appear over the entire screen its only half the page appears.
When I start in safe mode the mouse works fine but I can't access the internet to try and find some help.
Please, I would love some possible answers and help!
Right click My Computer, left click Properties, left click Hardware, left click Device Manager. Left click Display adapters. Right click your adapter and left click Properties. This should give information as to whether the Display adapter is working properly. In Device Manager check other hardware that has a Question Mark"?" or Exclamation Mark"!". You may need to re-install some Drivers. Win 98 had Driver problems.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
