Sound like the hot water sonenoid is stuck in the open position. Locate this solenoid and tap it lightly with a small hammer while the hot water is open. If it does not stop it will beneficial to have this part replaced. I hope this will help.

Check the drain line underneath the sink.
It should be suspended just below the counter top.
If it is too low, water from the sink will back fill into the dishwasher.
If the drain is OK,then the dishwasher water valve is defective.

Slow fill of water is due to the strainer clogging. Strainer is located on the body of the machine where the inlet water hose is connected.

Clean all the water flow tubes in the machine.Clean the solenoid valve opening also.

Bosch smu4096ud /14 dishwasher wont fill with water

Find out where the water is being stopped. Firstly at the wall. Then maybe at the solenoid (depending on the model) and then just trace the water line until you find out where it's being stopped.
Also I would recommend you run some nickel safe ice machine cleaner through the system to get rid of the 'white junk'.

maybe your diverter valve at the pump is stuck open. Its a lilttle red box looking thing under the waasher by the pump. That little red box looking thing is you wax motor that has a plunger hooked up to a small looking piece. That wax motor moves the pluger in and out depending what cycle it is on. So im thinkng that went bad maybe and has the valve stuck open and thge water that is trying to fill is passing thru the pump and thru the drain hose. When the water fills its supposed to be closed tha way it contains all the water when it fills and wont let any get thru pass the pump and thru the drain hose.

Bosch SHU3036UC/U11 dishwasher does not stop filling with water

Hi,
It sounds as if the main program board has developed a fault - as it should come to a complete stop. The fact it kept the water valve open with the door open is a serious fault- so I would have it checked before using it again.

Most machines have a water-stop feature - so if it develops a leak - it will shut off the water. This clearly didn't happen.

Bosch dishwasher fills with water after cycle is completed

Sounds like you need a new water inlet valve. It's not shutting off completely, so water slowly enters the machine even while it isn't running.
