Well the bad news is this is a extremely cheap unit. It was thought that a sensor that would know when your clothes were dry was a good energy saving idea. Well it wasn't This is a very common issue in these dryers. The Sensor needs to be replaced.
Since no model number was given, check to see if you have a setting commonly noted as "wrinkle guard", "wrinkle shield", "press care" or something to that affect. Those settings will run the dryer for as much as 90 min after a completed drying cycle to prevent wrinkles in clothing, allowing you time to remove the cloths after a dry cycle if you are busy. Hello, What the automatic dry miser is, is a sensor that measure how dry the clothes are and will adjust the time its going to take to dry the clothes throughout the entire cycle. If at the beginning it estimate it will take 40 minutes to sry a load but they are dry in only 25 minutes the dryer knows the clothes are dry and cuts the dryer off. Saving 15 minutes of unneeded gas and electric that it would run and waste power and gas since the clothes were dry already.
279834 is the part number for the 2 coils ( kit ) which mount on the burner . Only 2 screws hold the coil retainer . One coil is opening ( shorting ) after it gets warm . Replaceing both will solve the problem . Easily replaceable .
if it's gas,you have bad gas coils, they'll work when they're bad until they heat up then they cut out, after they cool and you start the dryer again you'll have heat for 15 to 30 minutes or less but when the coils heat up again they will cut out and after some time they won't work at all.next time send model number and if it's gas or electric so someone can help you better
Loads may be too large. Also when you reset and restart, the heat overload is cutting out. If your discarge is kinked or not venting properly this will cause it not to dry as well. Also check your lint screen. Good Luck!
