my cannon h8 video camera has flickering pictures when I try to play them on my t.v.
Problem for Sony HDR-HC1 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
SONY HDR-HC1 TAPE ISSUE
After I insert tape and begin to shoot video red light comes on says to insert tape again,after doing so ,shoot video for 3 to 4 min and light comes back on with same prompt ANY IDEAS!!!!

The problem is with the S-reel. Take the tape out, remove the battery,
and give it a slight bump. This usually fixes the issue for a couple of
weeks. I haven't heard of any permanent fixes. I took my cam into circuit city (before they closed) twice for the same issue. Very frustrating when you don't know what the issue is.
