when you click on download, choose save not run and save the program somewhere like my documents. Once it has finished downloading, come off of the internet. Double click the setup icon for itunes. Let itunes install, once it is installed and opened it will ask you to agree to the license, obviously you would need to agree other wise you will not be able to use it. It will then ask you if you want to sync your music say no other wise it will go through your computer and convert all of your music that you have on it, and you may not want that just now.

The next step would to be choosing which songs that you want on your ipod. So with itunes open, click on File, add folder to library, and then choose which music folder you want to import first. Browse to your music folder and click on the + sign next to it and select a folder that you want on itunes. Then click okay. If the music files in this folder are mp3 they will transfer very quickly, if the wma (windows media) itunes will need to convert the music first and will ask you if it is okay to convert the music. (the original music will stay where it is and itunes will make an aac copy of the music. Also make sure that the music you want on your ipod is not protected otherwise itunes will not be able to convery or copy it). Keep adding folders/files or music until you have all that you want on your ipod. The next step would be to turn on the ipod and plug it into the usb port. Itunes will pick it up and because this ipod has been used before it will tell you that this ipod is synced with another computer do you want to sync with this one, say yes.

Create yourself a playlist that you want on your ipod. Click on File, new playlist and give the playlist a name, then right click all of the songs that you want on your ipod and click add to (your playlist)

What ever is on the ipod will be deleted and the ipod will become as new. Then with the image of your ipod on the left hand pane of itunes, click on it and another page will open, click on the music tab of that page and put a tick in sync ipod and then put another tick in manage my files manually, then click on the playlist that you want to sync onto your ipod. In this case it will be the playlist that you created. Then click on sync on the bottom right hand side of the page. Your ipod will then start to be synced with all of the music that you chose. Do not unplug the ipod while it is syncing with itunes. Wait for itunes to tell you that the sync is complete then you can right click the image of your ipod on the left hand pane of itunes and select eject. You can take the ipod out of the computer and try it out.

I hope this is a little clearer.

is this when you download from itunes? Does it display on the ipod screen in finnish? If it does then the language has been set wrong or something happened to cause the language to set wrong. If your music is back up on itunes, plug the ipod back into your computer and with the ipod image on the left hand pane of the screen click on it, and another page will open with options for the ipod choose restore, this will bring the ipod back to its original settings again, then just reload your playlist. Try this and let me know if you need any more help.

How to download songs to apple ipod a1136 and its library to my pc?

You will need to get a third party software in order to be able to do that. iPods are built with software in them that will not allow for you to be able to transfer from iPod to Computer. Essentially, Apple put a code in there to prevent pirating.

I want to know which generation is the Ipod 30G model A1136, thanks

There are two 5th gen iPods, A1136 model is the older 2005 model, not the later 2006 model.

Here is Apples link: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1353#ipodfifth2 which will show the differences, but not by model number. The reason I know this model number is the first 5th gen 2005 is because I have one. Also older 2005 should have '2005' engraved on rear.

Apple iPod Model A1136, 30 GB.

First make sure your hold switch isn't on. It's on the top or bottom and slides back and forth. It needs to be switched to the left. Once it is to the left, here's how you reset:

You can reset your ipod by holding down the menu and select (round button in the center) buttons down for at least 10 seconds. You'll see an apple logo flash, that's when you stop pressing the buttons. It will shut off, then back on.
