You only need coaxial cable to pick up TV stations broadcast via an aerial. If your TV has sockets to connect via HDMI or SCART, then any players can be connected via them. So if the adapter box picks up TV signals, you connect the main aerial cable to that and it should have a coaxial out socket, that should be connected to the aerial in of your TV. If you are recording to an analogue video from the adapter box, then that will need to be connected via a scart socket or other connection.
when problem occur while cam is operating, the self-diagnosis function starts working, and may display the service mode display code. in your case, C:31:40, pertains to a part of the cam tape compartment mechanism called the drum that doesn't start up. issues could prevent you from recording, playing back tapes, rewinding or fas forwarding. t/s steps are: try diff tapes esp. w/prev recordings, reset cam (press reset button while cam is on, located just below the menu button, in the panel where the lcd screen goes to), power reset (remove batt and ac adapter and leave cam w/ any power source for at least a minute). if issue persists, unit will require repair. hope this helps.tnx:)
the error c:31:23 error pertains to one of the reel (part that turns the tape) is malfunctioning. although you can play back videos, you would definitely have issue w/ recording, rewinding or fast forwarding the tape.what you can do is to turn the camcorder off.remove the battery and ac adapter for at least a minute.insert the battery or reconnect the adapter.you can also try pressing the reset button (located near the top of the speaker, on the panel where lcd screen goes to).make sure cam is on when you do that.if still your getting this problem, service would be needed for your cam.hope this helps :)
Look at the admin settings. Normally you have to specify at what you want to record, irrespective of what the cameras can do. Actually each camera should be able to do 30fps
Yellow connection for camcorder is your video output, the other one is for audio. If your DVD recorder does not have composite video inputs you will have to get an adapter to attach to your yellow wire and the other end of adapter will go to your recorder. OK?
