If you can and need it,go to dealer and get oil change,they always scan your vehicle for free and will find this problem and tell you what it is and cost and you can decide to let them do it or do it yourself and you will find out for free what is wrong,just a oil change,I have the dealer do mine for this reason,something wrong,they will tell me.

How do i revtieve the trouble codes for a 2002 chevy astro van

loosen fuel lines at throttle body when turning key to on possion , careful not to spill gas all over engine, do you hear fuel pump running and try to put at least 4-5 gallions of fuel, you could try a (LITTLE ) shot of starting fluid ?good luck hope this helps.

I hav a 99 chevy tahoa LT. 4+4, 5.7. when on hiway sometimes when im going down hill and off of the gas it makes a loud noise. i step back on the gas and it goes away. sounds like its comin from the trans.

Check the front universal joint. These don't have grease fittings and tend to fail
Put vehicle in park and check drive shaft for excessive movement by rotating it
by hand. If you feel any play at all it may have failed. Hope this helps.

I had that exact code a couple weeks ago. Mine needed new oxygen sensors. They(there are 2, only one was throwing a code, but I had both replaced) cost a little over $100 to have replaced.
