Question about Acer Aspire 4315 Notebook
This message is from Microsoft. It means that when you tried to update or otherwise patch your OS, the system at MS showed your computer to have a copy of Windows running that isn't legal. You will continue to receive the message and see that little star looking thing in your taskbar until you pay them for an activation code or reinstall Windows from a disc you own or have already purchased. The question here is who put the OS on your laptop? Did you get this from someone who had rebuilt it? That's the usual way it happens. If you bought the laptop brand new or from a reputable shop, take it back and show them the message.
Hope this clears up the confusion enough to rate me a Fixya!
