If you tick the box Remember my password, it should not pop up again. if it does. the password is wrong, or the username is not formatted correctly.

i often see the username as "servername\username" instead of "domain\username".

check that .

I need to set up my wireless router to my epson 520 all-in-one printer system. I have lost the password to the router (passphrase). Ineed to get it setup. help!

This solution requires a PC running Windows 7 that is already able to connect to the same network that you would like your printer to use.

Depending on how your system works, you could try right-clicking the icon on the bottom right that indicates your wireless connection. Choose "Open Network and Sharing Center" and then "Manage Wireless Networks". From there, choose your own wireless network from the list, right click it, and select "Properties". Another window should pop up. Go to the "Security" tab. From there, you should see "Network security key" with a few asterisks next to it. Directly below, check the "Show Characters" box and the asterisks will turn into whatever password your computer uses to automatically connect to your internet when it picks up your network.

Solution #2

If the above doesn't work, you can always call your internet provider and ask them to reset the password on your router. Keep in mind, however, that if your password is reset, you will have to go and enter the new password into all other computers/devices that connect to your WiFi.

Password box keeps popping up

The default password should be "admin" with a blank user name. If it won't work, try admin in both fields. Also, when you reset the router, make sure the power is plugged in, and you hold the button at least 10 seconds.

I would like to get my yahoo account through outlook. I keep getting the pop up box to enter network password and when I press ok - it just keeps coming back

You cannot access yahoo mail through outlook unless you have the paid version of yahoo mail, or a program called Ypops. http://ypopsemail.com/

If you have Yahoo Mail Plus, the help page with how to configure various email programs is here.

If you need any more help, I'll be happy to.
