Re: We have a bosch washing machine and cannot open the...
If the filter will not unscrew there is an object preventing it from doing so. There are two options to fix this. Firstly try turning the filter one way then the other to try to dis lodge the item. This usually works after a few attempts but if not you will have to remove the large black pipe from the pump and try to remove it from there. There will be some water in this pipe!
Hope this helps.

If it is a F18 error,t means that the pump out time is too long. Most likely clogged filter.
Open panel on the bottom right, drain the water out using the left hose and remove the filter plug. Have a look and clear obstructions.
That should help.
Your pump is blocked so the machine can't empty the water at the end of each stage of the cycle. This is causing every stage of the cycle to take far longer than it should. At the bottom right of the machine there is a small door and behind it is the access to the pump filter (Looks a bit like a car fuel cap). Unscrew the cap and you will fin all sorts of debris in there - clear it out and all will be well. BEWARE: It is a good idea to pull the machine out and tip it bback 45 deggrees so most of the water that is remaining in the machine runs away from the filter cover, minimising the amount that goes all over your floor. You will STILL get some leakage when you open the cover, so have a towel or two to hand
Could be a blockage in the hose...remove the filter cover and give a hefty blow down the end of the drain hose (give it a wipe first). If there is an obstruction along the length of the hose this should expel it. If this does not help then you may have a blockage between the drum and the pump, when the filter is out, poke your finger in the small opening in the pump housing at approx nine o'clock and see if you can feel anything. Hope this helps, good luck.
on my kenmore machine nd means the drain filter is clogged. open the cover, drain water completely, remove and clean the filter, replace filter, tighten and close cover. hope this works for you. if not , at least your drain filter will be cleaned and you can eliminate it as the problem.
there will be a blockage in your "fluff" Filter cap. i could not get mine open so what i had to do was unplug the washing machine disconnected the filter from the waste and the blockage pipe and the electrics and found a bra wire i pulled it out with some long nosed pliers then the cap came off i cleared it all out connected it all back together and it worked good as new
e 13 is a door lock error if you are lucky you may have a manual release check where filter is for a red pull release this mechanically activates the door to retrieve trapped washing,if not lock will need replacing engineer visit unfortunately.
Open the panel at the bottom using a 2p coin by turning clockwise Pull the rubber hose out of the holder and drain water into a container until stops turn large plastic screw to the left for access to the pump Clear away and debris bits of metal, plastic, etc that has stopped the pump. Opposite of above to reassemble Switch on and test... good luck!
