Question about Computers & Internet
I am trying to connect my Phillips Streamium to the internet so I can get internet radio. It asks me for DNS1 ---.---.---.--- , DNS2 ---.---.---.--- , Set Gateway ---.---.---.--- , Enable Proxy yes or no if yes Proxy Address ---.---.---.--- , Proxy port -----. I cannot find any of these numbers could you please help. I have tried ipconfig but couldn't understand the numbers and what was what.
I am with Bt Yahoo and have the BT Homehub 2.0.
Start your PC; press START - RUN and in the box, type CMD and then press enter. A Window will open. Type here IPCONFIG /ALL and then press enter. You will see then some numbers including DNS Servers and Default Gateway (usually they are one and the same if you are using a router) PROXY set to NO. Should work then. Failing this, navigate using your web browser to http://www.kitz.co.uk/isp/dns.htm where you will find a list of all DNS servers - scroll down to BT and choose some from that list.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
