Well it's because it does not support .avi you have to convert that video in either .MP4 or .AVC format. There many media converters out there and some of them are free. The one I use and still use today is call 3GP converter I did not pay anything for it and you should not either. It was from: CLICK HERE d/l the converter. before you install make sure you change the text so you can read it. And it will ask you for which device to you want to convert for, there will be two choices for the psp do not pick for dierct reanme. Pick the one named: MODEL: .MP4, for PSP

It's a great converter little slow but it works. After installing the only two things you have to do is figure out is where to send the finish converted vid and how great of a quality you want your vid (by chosing 1 thru 10, as 10 being the best quality). Click and drag your .AVI file to the converter and let it do the rest.

anymore question pls feel free to ask.

You need to convert the file to mp4 format. The psp uses only mp4 files for video. Go here:

I was wondering what format videos can i put on my player?

If you have a Coby MP705, .AVI is the only supported video format of this player. If you have videos that are in different file extensions or formats, you may need to transfer them first into your computer and convert them to .avi.

You can download free file or video converter.

Thank you and good luck!

What DVD video formats are supported by BBK? I need to copy video files from my PC to show on TV. PC shows these videos in Windows Media Player. The videos were taken by Cannon camera in "MOV" file format.

Supported Video formats:
VCD,SVCD,AVI
DIVX,JPG

As you see no support for mov files
You'll have to convert these mov files to avi...
Go to http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm and
download the Rad Videotools. This little program helps you convert
all your mov files to avi. Burn the avi files on a cd and you should be able to play them on your dvdplayer..

Videos....plezzz help me!!!

I had the same problem, I transfered files already in AVI format and the player did not recognize them. I used the sofware that came with the player (AVI Converter, I think) to convert my videos to AVI and I selected that the program copy them directly to player ( the player has to be connected to your computer while converting the files, obviously) instead of doing it manually. At least that worked for me. Another option is to convert the videos to flash format (.flv). I don't know why the player reads those kind of files (as per the manual and GPX web page it's supposed to read AVI only) but it works. Hope this helps.
