Transcend 2 gb pendrive is not open due to it's format change to cd-rom drive so it's cannot open in any computer. i request u sir please give me the solution of the above porblem. it's also can not format.

In windows
my computer >right click icon of your pendrive > click format
in the window just opened change the volume label to transcend then select quick format and click "start"

wait a moment
done.
if this procedure failed the problem is your pendrive hardware is faulty

If you have a USB port on the back of computer plug it in there. Or use USB extension if it is uneasy for you to plug your pen drive from time to time. From there you can hook up your pen drive much easy.

Think this write protection error is due to some virus.
Steps to remove write protection for Transcend users
1) Go to download center of the transcend,here is the link
http://www.transcendusa.com/Support/DLCenter
Type the model no. or part of model number you are looking for.
example: JFV30(all alphabets in Caps )
2) Choose other details like product type etc. and search for your product
3)Then select the product which which is most similar to yours from search results
4)Then download the mFormat utility. You will asked for serial no. if you dont have..enter this no. 1456784523
5) Connect your pen drive
6) run the mformat utility and select full format after full format your write protection will be removed. try twice or thrice if you can't correct at first time.
Thats all...

It worked for me and my friends....

Other pen drive users may visit there vendors site and download any fromat utility present there for your model.

when you purchased the t sonic mp3 player 610 box pack at that time or in that box one CD is there. put that CD in CD ROM and install recovery. then in recovery or where the recovery is install go there and select firmware update, when we update the firmware virsion at that time the data will be loss.during the update don't disconnect the drive.

u need to check the working of pendrive on some other system/pc. may be ur pc needs usb configuraton?
