Question about Olevia LT42HVi 42 in. LCD Television
Blue screen no sound won't pull in no channels and once on you have to unplug the cord to turn off
Most of the new TV's display a blue screen when there's no signal for it to lock on.
Try unplugging it for about 5-10 minutes and see if that clears up the
problem. Why? Because they have microprocessors in 'em (computer chips)
and just as like with any other operating system, they can hang up or
crash. This isn't an uncommon problem with today's TV sets. Unplugging
it for awhile resets the microprocessor (in other words, it causes it
to re-boot when you plugit in again).
Also, try connecting a vcr or dvd player up to it and see if there is any difference.
Lastly, this could be caused by the power supply or a fuse inside which has gone bad and has blown

Does anyone know of a source for the "Main PCB" P/N: SCO-P511201-MA0-NE2, for the Olevia 540i (540-B11) ? Set produced sound, back-light/raster but no video/picture.
Syntax is all but shut down and of no help.
Tks,
