Step 1:
The webcam does not need to be disassembled in any way in order to obtain a sharp and clear image.

Launch the webcam's video program by selecting it from the "Start," and the "All Applications" menu. Aim the webcam towards you so that you can see the blurry image presented in the program's video window. Rotate the knurled focus ring that surrounds the lens at the front of the webcam until the image is sharp; if there is no focus ring, position the webcam closer or farther from you until the video image is sharp. Blow off the lens at the front of the webcam with compressed air. Moisten the end of a cotton swab in photo lens cleaning solution. Wipe the lens with the moistened end of the swab, beginning at the center and rotating in a circle until you reach the outer edge. Wipe the lens dry with a lens tissue in the same manner as was just done, to remove the contaminants that caused the blurry image. Launch the webcam video program that is on the hard drive. Select the "Advanced" or "Options" tab at the top of the program's main window -- depending on how the program is set up to bring up a settings window. Reset the "Sharpness" control to 65 percent of the total possible, using a slider control or entering "65" in a text field. Click the "Apply" button at the bottom of the window, followed by the "OK" button to sharpen the image transmitted by the webcam.

Hello, I have a Sharp Viewcam and the problem is that i have Windows 7 now and i used to have Windows XP. It says on the Cd For Windows 98/Me/2000/Xp. I tried to Install the USB driver but it doesnt work....

If you are purely looking to view pictures taken on your viewcam perhaps a way around this problem due to the Windows 7 incompatibility is to purchase a USB memory card reader as I would imagine that the digital camera part of the unit stores the images on a card although without knowing your exact model number this is only a guess. USB memory card readers are relatively cheap now and would allow you to view and copy your image files by taking out the memory card, inserting it into the relevant slot in the card reader and then view your pictures through Windows Photo Gallery.

A more permanent but complicated solution to viewing both your images and your videos would be to set up dual booting on your computer and have both Windows 7 and XP. If you don't fancy the dual boot option you could try VMware which would allow you to run XP from within Windows 7.

We got a new computer and it comes with a built in webcam but when i try and use the cam on msn it wont work...it just goes all fuzzy. what can i do to fix it?

Configure a webcam can take the course, however, a series of simple manipulations can improve the performance of your equipment.
Launch the Configuration Wizard

Close your audio or video conversations.
Then, in the main MSN window, go to:
Tools> Adjustment of audio and video

Adjust the picture

Once the setup wizard started, let yourself be guided by it.

Select your webcam (its name should appear in the list) and click "Next."

A window appears and prompts you to set your webcam. Check the layout and image sharpness. If the image is fuzzy, adjust the lens of your camera until the image is sharp. Then click next.

Adjust the sound

Once the camera set, the wizard offers to adjust the sound. To do this, select your microphone in the selection, either the webcam or a microphone plugged into the microphone on your computer.

Then select the speaker output of your sound card to hear from your speakers.

The wizard will then adjust the volume of your microphone. To do this, move the cursor until the sound obtained is satisfactory. Then click "Finish". Configuring your webcam is complete.

Replacing the DC input connector on a Sharp m4000 widenote laptop

Yes it can be replaced and it has to be done with experience in soldering desoldering or the mobo will be junk. Splitting the cases is only a small part of the job if you have no experience in soldering methods. See if there is another way that you can charge the battery but I can not imagine it to be convienent

Screen getting dark on sharp pc-m4000

You most likely have a defective screen - a defective inverter or a CCFL lamp. To determine if you have a LCD screen or video card problem, read this and follow the instructions. Defective CCFL backlight, it may have the following symptom: Screen flashs on red/pink and off. Picture stays on in red and slowly be come normal. Picture flickering with dim display or appear black. Picture flickering on and off. All these symptoms indicate that the LCD backlight lamp (CCFL Lamp) has reached the end of the life and all you need to do is replacing the CCFL lamp Connect an external monitor to your laptop and power it up, if you see the normal Windows images then the video card and laptop is OK and the problem is definitely the backlight. Dim image and/or dark display on the laptop's LCD screen indicates a faulty LCD backlight and it could be the inverter that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or it is the CCLF lamp is nearly burnt out or burnt out, most likely this is the case. The inverter can be replaced easily but the CCLF lamp is more time consuming and requires soldering skills. Check out www.lcdparts.net for parts, repair service and DIY info.

"no signal" message when laptop is plugged into projector

There is a key on the keyboard that has blue text on it. Something to the effect of LCD or CRT. With the monitor connected and turned on, press and hold the FCN KEY as well as the LCD/CRT key. While holding the FCN key keep hitting the CRT key until the image transfers to the external monitor

ACER Aspire One AOA150-1635 and Sharp XR32-X projector

you need to connect it with VGA. then enable the 2nd monitor

4972c40.jpg
now you should have a wallpaper on the projector, you can drag objects to it by draging them out from the screen.

if you don't have the 2nd screen option. Then hold down the blue FN button and then tap F5 see if the picture comes, the FN + F5 will swap around with the outputs.

Picture, which ever is the size,is not showing clearly. It is showing like, for eg. if we insert a small picture as desk top image by making it extra large, then we can see each pixel of the image right?...

Firstly a picture for the desktop should be at least 200-600KB in size or you will get pix elation problems. Make sure your color is set to max. Control Panel---->Display---->Settings---->Make sure the color settings are set on the highest level. The less the KBs the poorer the picture quality will be. A picture in MBs will look real sharp at any size.

Can,t download or burn photos

Most likey the images have been moved from the orginal location. Try locating them by clicking on the Start Menu...Search...Pictures, Music or Video and check off the "Pictures and Photo's" box. Let the search run and see you can find your pictures. Right click on the white space in the seadch results windows and click on View...Thumbnails if you need to view the pics.

If you hover your mouse over the image it should tell you were the image is located (such as C:\Documents and Settings\(Username)\My Documents\My Pictures\(filename).jpg)
You can then go back to Photoshop open the image by going to that directory.
