mcdevito75 here, Press the SHIFT key, a screen should come up telling you too click on your user name, left lower side of screen. If this doesn"t work, press the yellow blinking light on the monitor see if picture comes back, then follow the directions. If this doesn"t work, shut computer down with switch on the computer itself. Hope this helps.

The monitor will come on but screen do not show.

Hello,

The picture on your monitor won't come on because the picture board of your monitor has developed fault.

The best thing for you to do now is to take the monitor to a local repairer within your vicinity, because the fault is not something you can fix yourself.

Good luck.

After hibernate mode monitor blinks on and off. The monitor is on power is being feed to monitor however if you turn the power button on and then off the picture on the screen will blink on and then off

If it is your computer that is in hibernation then blinking on the monitor light is normal

Just bring your computer out of hibernation and the screen will come back to life too

No picture - blinking blue light. My daughter was

There are a few things you can check. First, try to see if the monitor cables are firmly connected on both sides (computer and monitor) no need to remove any cable for now just check the monitor cables (ends should be blue or white on both sides) Then check if you got an imput button on your screen (like all TV and some monitors now has) This input gives you the choice between a few possible connections and it may be on the wrong one. Just cycle trough the input modes and I think you will have your image back. If Still, you dont see anything, try a different monitor or try to connect your monitor on a different PC/laptop. In fact blinking blue could be there because the monitor is awaiting a signal on the input it's listening. At worst it could be because your video chip/card dont send a signal to your monitor, could happen, but imo it's probably not the case.

Computer power button for the monitor blinks blue

there are two reasons for this to happen there are blown capacitors inside the monitor and or there transistors on the board that have failed. both can be repaired.

Problem seemed to be a short in the power cable to the monitor. Replaced the power cable and for the time, the monitor is working correctly.
