Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I was updating my psp 5.03 chickhen but it won't work so i cancel it, now my psp won't turn on only green light on the side

You just 'bricked' you PSP.

What model is your PSP? Is it the 1000, 2000, or 3000?

Never, ever, turn off your PSP when attempting to do an upgrade.

Best thing you can do is get ahold of what's called a Pandora Battery and then attempt to 'downgrade' your PSP before you attempt to upgrade. The battery of the PSP has special circuitry designed to boot the PSP and loading from the internal ROM or from the disk drive. A Pandora Battery is the same battery, but has been physically modified so that it can boot from memory stick. You will have to download a special utility that will 'write' specific boot programs to a Sony Memory Stick. This has to be done on a computer. Once that is done, you put the Memory Stick into the PSP, install the Pandora Battery, and then turn on the unit. (You cannot have the external powersupply plugged in, the battery needs to be fully charged.) The PSP will boot off the Memory Stick. You will then have the choice to 'downgrade' to a previous ROM Version. This will take some time, so wait for it to fully load. Once it is complete, remove the Memory Stick and put in a normal battery, or reconfigure the Pandora Battery back to its original configuration, and the PSP should boot normally.

If you are not comfortable in doing this, you will have to do a search on Google for places that can do this procedure. Some places charge up to $80-$100 to do this.

Hope this helps.

THe PSP will not fully come on....the light turns green but nothing on the screen and then after a few seconds....unit goes off???

It sounds like the firmware is corrupt. You will have to reflash it using a pandora battery and "magic memory stick". You can get one here.
