We have a Whirlpool side by side refrigerator that won't get cold on either side. Came home to water on my floor which came from the freezer. Any idea how we can fix this?

-   Our Whirlpool is a 2000 Model # ED22PEXHW0Z Side by Side , everything works but neither side is getting cold and they are at the max.
Food in Freezer part thawing and water on the floor.
Also is there a way to shut off automatic defrost?-   Guest

-   I am having the same problem. Both sides won't get cold. Everything melted. The fan and lights are on. The compressor is not on. Any suggestions.

check to see if c ompressor is running if not it might just be realy thats the little box mounted on the left side
