Question about Washing Machines
We have an LG wm 1460fhd washing machine and it works fine untill it gets down to about 4 minutes and then it gets stuck, sometimes it might be about 8 minutes we can eventually get it to finish after a while by turning off or keep resetting the program.
We had a similar situation with our LG washer. It was not a timer problem.
The machine was not entering the spin cycle and was just stuck in limbo. A sensor or something was not being satisfied and allowing the progression to the next cycle. Our problem had to do with the drain line; it seemed as if it was air locked?? After lowering the drain line height (to reduce the head pressure), and manually draining some water out of the drainage cap (where the strainer is located) onto the floor, the sensor became satisfied and the machine completed its cycles properly.
What told me that it was not a timer issue was the fact that on different wash settings (normal, heavy, quick cycle), the machine timer would get stuck at different countdown points (22mins, 12mins, etc.).
