Question about Acer Al2416WD LCD Monitor
My monitor keeps switching off and then back on after every few minutes. It does this most frequently when I use a 1920x1200 resolution but also [less frequently] when I use 1600x1200.
It's native resolution is meant to be 1920x1200 so I cant understand why it wont hold that resolution? I just bought it yesterday.
I'm having the same pronblem when I connect my Xbox 360 to it via VGA or when I connect it to my laptop as an external monitor (also via VGA).
Could you please advise how to fix this?
It cant be a graphics issue as it still happened with my Xbox 360 connected.

It must be your videocard. Also use a DVI cable, don't use VGA.
