I have a 50 inch Samsung plasma HDTV model LNT4071FXXAA version SS02 it has a small approximately 16th inch vertical line starting at the bottom of the screen and going about 4 or 5 inches up When looking...

Open the back of the tv. Inside you will find a series of connectors with ribbon connectors along the screen edge. look where the line is on the screen and open the ribbon cable clamp closest to the line. Move the ribbon cable a little and re-clamp it. Sometimes a little corrosion creates a bad connection.

Jvc lt-47em59 picture too large in all aspect modes

Larger as in -- the screen looks fatter. 4:3 stretched to 16:9 or as in Larger as in, screen is longer but thinner? 16:9 / 10 fitting onto ratio 4:3?

Asuming... its the second one -- that ur screen is box 4:3 and the picture is huge 16:9 which is why u need to "zoom out" to get the full picture -- are u sure some idiot didnt mess with the settings and make the tv "zoom in" if it isnt a aspect ratio issue?

... if it is a aspect ratio issue, and ur using 4:3 (small old box televisions) there should be a ratio setting either on ur television OR on ur set top box, that would by defualt with digital tv have wide screen 16:9 -- id suggest finding the settings either on the tv or the set top box or...

just get a bigger tv that supports 16:9 cheap for 50 bucks.

Magnavox flat screen tv has lines on one side of the picture

If its production date is more than four years retire it, to answer your question the set will have two single or one large boards, the two board version one of the boards drives the picture on one side of screen and other on the other side, the version with just one larger board combines both boards into one

You might want to Google the model number with"parts" to see what is available and at what cost for this set, They only sell boards and no individual parts for all of this type of set.

I have a large spot on the right side of the LCD screen, it looks like a large water spot does it mean the VIZIO TV is going out? What can I do to make it disappear.

Not possible.Tv have damages to it LCD screen panel by an object or a person have causes by forced or putting pressure to the tv LCD screen panel itself to causing colors picture pixels and it radiation to died to causing this problems.Sorry it time to buy a new tv,because by replacing the tv LCD screen panel itself will cost u the same as a new tv.Tries buy a new tv from the VIZIO tv corporation directly return the damages LCD panel tv to them,u could get a 5 or 10% off of the tv prices.

I accidentally hit the A / B Button and now the picture disappear. How can I restore?

Try to reset the LCD to factory defaults by pressing menu > set up and scroll down to restore all. Have the satellite cable on before you try to run the auto channel scan.

Black box comes up on tv screen

The black box is a text box for closed captioning. Some stations send the signal which turns on the box while not actually broadcasting any text. Go into your setup menu and turn off closed captioning, or at least change it to a different mode. The easiest option is to restore factory presets.
