Most times color does not to be reset. If you have a very ugly green or blue picture, then you did not pull the jumper on the dm board. This jumper must be removed when a bering type color wheel has be replaced with a new airless bering color wheel.
Yes, there is a little black jumper like that used on a computer board that needs to be pulled. The jumper is pretty close to the middle of the bottom of set, just below a yellow tag.

The jumper is on the dmd bd. close to the dlp chip heat sink. Need tweesers or small needle nose to slide the jumper off of the two small pins

It could be the colorwheel but if you dont hear any whinning before the light starts blinking 5 times its probaly the AC in board especially if you have the ATC336 chassis RCA

Is it easy to change a color wheel like the lamp? or i need to take it to a tv specialist?

the colorwheel is not as easy as the lamp to change. you have to remove the light engine from the tv and remove a cover from the lens and a cover from over the colorwheel then two screws that hold the color wheel and two wires. sometimes new codes must be input into the service mode. i suggest letting a professional do it.

Color is wrong after color wheel replacement

Hello,

You probably replaced a bearing colorwheel, and it was replaced with a bearingless. If you look inside the TV on the back of the light engine (the silver box in front of and to the left of the color wheel), there should be a jumper (that connects two wires coming out) toward the bottom of it in a recessed little hole. That jumper should be removed if the color wheel was replaced with the air bearing type. Just grasp it gently with a pair of needle nose pliers, and pull it out slowly.

This should restore a normal color operation, but there might be some other adjustments that need to be made if it doesn't clear it up completely.

I hope this helps you...

Color wheel was making a sqealing noise then locked up

The clorwheel is the problem. Once the bearings go bad in the colorwheel, it's toast. Replace the colorwheel and you'll be ok
