The airtight hose between the tub and water level switch is probably frozen also. Therefore it is rendered useless and not allowing pressure to shut down the water and crank up the motor. Clear the hose, pump out the water (after the pump thaws out) and retry.

Water leaking on floor from clogged defrost drain line. How do we defrost the drain line so I can fix the drain hole. I'm trying to do fix like shown on YouTube.

The video is spot on for preventing ice from clogging the drain. To clear the ice from a frozen drain - you can either unplug the fridge and open the door and let it defrost without any additional effort on your part.

or

if you don's have a place to put the contents of the fridge, access the drain area as shown in the video. Get some dry towel handy for absorbing water. Fill a pot or pan with HOT tap water and draw the hot water into a turkey baster and then squirt the hot water down the frozen drain opening. Repeat as needed until you've melted the ice that has filled the tube - and mop up the excess water with the towels as needed.

My washing machine keeps filling with water

If the washer keeps filling up without overflowing onto the floor , then you have the drain hose too deep into the drain and it is siphoning, pull the drain hose back up from being so deep and have it only about 10 inches into the drain, tie it into place with a shoestring or wire tie.
Now if your problem is that the washer is overflowing onto the floor, then there is a clear rubber hose that has been disconnected from the washer, this is the diaphragm hose. Have a technician reattach it. It shuts the water off and starts the machine when its gets enough water, but it wont if the hose is disconnected. Mr Burk

I need to stop water from getting on the floor of the freezer?

If your refrigerator is frost-free, water may not be draining into the evaporator pan underneath. The drain tube may be clogged.

The front egde of the ice maker overflows into tray and causes big ice block in tray.

Start with changing the water valve in back of box. Take the water line from the valve and blow in to line to see if fill tube is frozen also. If it is take a hairdryer and thaw the fill tube. Turn off the box while thawing tube then turn on. If all this dont fix it time for new maker. But dont replace icemaker till you check the rest because It wont work if the tube is frozen or bad water valve. I hope this helps.

How do I drain the water from my tank?

First turn off power to water heater. Next cut off cold water supply coming to water heater that fills it. Once power and water is shut off connect a water hose to bottom of water heater and prepare to drain it. open the hot side of a faucet to break the vaccum to allow for draining to happen.
Darin all water out and disconnect it from water lines and replace with a new one/

Hi I have a traulsen RHT 132 EUT FHS inside the unit water drips from the top and soakes everything and fills the bottom so I have to vacuume it out every few days

sounds like a clogged drain pan drain. Could be the drain line heater is not working so when it goes into defrost, the water can not drain as the drain line is frozen up and acts as a restriction/ clog. could also be some good old fashion junk/ dust.
Check it out.

97 Buick Regal - Fill Coolant Light came on, the tank was drained to the bottom. When I fill up the radiator reserve tank the fluid is coming out of a small, 1/2 inch diameter maybe, black rubber hose...

The heater core inside the passenger compartment is leaking. The water is draining through the Air Conditioner condensor drain tube. Don't plug the drain tube, the passenger side floor will get wet.

First, drain cooling system (or be quick) and disconnect the two heater hoses that are going into the firewall and splice the ends together with a 5/8" garden hose splicer.
The leak will stop, but your heater will not heat the interior.

Replace the heater core....

Water continues to run into and directly out of the machine and thus does not fill up and advanve to next part of cycle? Can you help, PLEASE?

If you have ever experienced the problem where you washer continually fills but never reaches the proper level (not an overflow). Or, the wash tub water level cannot be maintained, because the water level keeps dropping. You may be experiencing what is known as "siphoning". This occurs when there is no air gap for the drain line at the standpipe. The standpipe is the drain pipe at the wall where the washer drain line is placed. With no air gap, a vacuum is created, and water will begin to drain from the wash tub prematurely. To prevent this from occurring, follow this advice:

* The standpipe should be 2 inches in diameter to allow a sufficient air gap between the top of the standpipe and the drain hose.
* The standpipe should be a minimum of 34" from the floor, and should not exceed 72 inches in height.
* DO NOT seal the top of the standpipe. Many consumers seal the standpipe in the belief that this will prevent overflows, or get rid of drain odors. This often creates more problems than solutions.
* DO NOT place the drain hose too far down into the pipe. Water stays in the drain trap area of the standpipe. If the end of the drain hose rests in this area, no air gap is created, and this can also cause siphoning. 4 to 6 inches is sufficient.
* The drain hose length must not exceed 10 feet in length. Excessive drain hose length can cause drain problems and back wash.

Frozen drain lines from house

If it is your drain line frozen there must be a clog in the line somewhere because drain lines should never hold water. If it is a trap or goose neck under your house or trailer, you can carefully thaw them with a propane torch very slowly, or a Heat Gun very slowly, or even a Blow Dryer. After the trap or gooseneck is thawed out, run some hot water until your drain works as it used to. Then you can put Heat Tape on the trap so it does not happen again. Use the proper heat tape rated for metal or PVC plasic pipe according to instructions. Disconnect the electrical supply for the Heat Tape in the Spring as weather permits.....Joe
