When you up the computer press F8 key then enter in enable vga mode. Then go to control panel ->Display-> Settings Then change screen resolution to 1024*768 then apply and ok. Then check . If still same issue then uninstall graphic driver and install again then it works.
Hi, You will have to look at your TV to see what type of interface it has for PC connectivity, this is because there are 2 types of Video out on the laptop, first the s-video and secondly VGA (D-SUB).
I would recommend the VGA connection as the quality of the picture will be much better than s-video, so you will need a male to male VGA cable if your TV takes that interface (a male to male mini stereo cable is also required for audio)
If your TV only supports s-video then you are stuck with that interface until you upgrade your TV.
If you need anymore help in this matter please don't hesitate to post back.
Try the following:
Power up the projector first. With the laptop hooked up but not powered on once projector is warming up begin booting laptop. If there is still no display once its projector is fully warmed up and laptop booted you can try using the (fn) key with the laptop monitor switching function key usually F4 which switches the display monitor to show on external, external and laptop or just laptop. If this all fails try changing resolution of laptop to something that might be more projector friendly.
Let me know how you go.
i found the sound driver that works on DELL INSPIRON 6000
It also works on:
Inspiron- 6000, 93000, 9200, 2200, 1200, XPS Gen 2
Latitude- D610, D810, 110L, D510, D410, X1
Precision- M20, M70
then you need to connect audio, either from an onboard audio port or your audio-out port which you will need an adapter to plug into the audio out then convert to RGA compatable connector which will plug into your tv audio in port
You can also pick up the batteries less expensive than most computer places at batteries plus. And yes it sounds as though it is the batteries charge is getting low, especially if it runs fine when the battery is out and you have it plugged in.
