Question about Samsung Cameras
After the conversation today, I was able, with your suggestions, to view my video pictures, but the core of the problem still remains. I still need to use the Cyberlink software (or equivalent) as it has all the working tools to edit, fix and create slideshows, make DVDs and create different effects etc. The only thing that it did not do, when installed on my desktop, was to display the video pictures from my camcorder.
As the system works perfectly well on the laptop, I feel that there is something missing in my desktop computer. With that in mind, I have arranged to try out the software with my videos on a friend's computer in the next few days and hope to pin-point the problem. As my friend has just built his own computer, he may be able to put his finger on the missing hardware or software.
If we come up with an answer, I can post it up on this site.
Kind Regards Mike Posford (mandapos)
