Question about Nintendo Wii Console
All my other discs work with no problem. I have cleaned the disc . There is a small scratch but nothing deep. Any suggestions? The disc worked for about two months but is not now. Thank you.
Even small scratches can cause disk read errors. Try cleaning it again with a little white spirit using a soft cotton cloth then dry it off with a soft cotton cloth. If it still does not read, a lot of 'game' shops repair scratched disks for about £3.00.
I hope this helps

Check to see if there are any scratches on the disc. Scratches or marks on discs will render game discs unplayable or will freeze the game and will often show a message stating "Disc Read Error" or something to that effect. With some scratched discs, the data cannot be read and the game console may not even recognize the discs at all, giving you error messages etc. Best remedy for starters, is to try clean the discs and make sure there are no smudges or dirt marks left on the play-side of the discs. If there are any scratches on the discs, they will need repairing.
Most Game Discs, DVD's and CD's can be fixed quite easily back to "As Good As New Condition". Some home remedies or cheap repair kits may help with some light marks or very light scratches on some discs, but a professional disc repair service is usually required to repair any discs with anything more than very light scratches.

If you tried some home remedies and they have not worked, try sending the disc off for repair. Contact the site above for advice on repair and shipping.
