I need a new Lid for hamilton beach programmable slow cooker

this website does not have parts for slow cookers. it does have humidifier replacement filters, replacement bulbs, coffee maker accessories, and blender accessories but it does NOT have any hamilton beach lids or slow cooker parts.

thanks...but this site only had 4 quart lids. I need a lid for a 6 quart Hamilton Beach Programmable Slow cooker (33966).

Hamilton Beach is closed on the weekends. Their working hours are Monday - Friday 8 - 4:30 eastern time. I will call on Tuesday. Thank you.

From the Hamilton Beach website:Q Should I close the clips on my Stay or Go slow cooker during cooking?A We recommend closing the clips only during transport and storage. Closing the clips during cooking will not allow for proper ventilation of steam.

Does the plastic ring go around the lid to seal it on the hamilton beach slow cooker? It is new this year and about a 4-6 quart cooker.

The answer to your question is yes. See page 3 for a diagram which shows how the lid gasket fits around the inner outside edge of the lid. Do not however block the vent holes.

Believe or not, go to your local Goodwill Store! They have tons of crocks and the lids and the cookers separate frm each other that have been donated becase one of the pieces was broken and they donated the rest of the pieces. Lids and crocks typically range from $1.99 to $5.99 and you benefit your community at the same time.

Call Hamilton Beach. This crock pot was recalled because of threat of severe burn. My handle broke and I dropped my lid. When I called to buy a new lid, I was told of the recall. They will send you an envelope. You then send back the end of the cord. I got a whole new cooker, crock and lid in the mail. : )
