Third lamp replaced in about as many years, 4 days ago(Phillips, purchased over internet) and all was well until yesterday, Tv shut off. Pressed reset button w/ball point pen tip, tv came up for a few hours. Today, the reset button will only restore tv for 15-20 minutes.
Is this an inferior lamp problem or something deeper.
Re: tv shuts off, red status indicator lamp flashes.
Your main boards are bad. The FMT, DM, & Power Supply. They are no longer available, You have to
have the chasis rebuilt. Mitsubishi is rebuilding these chasis. You
have to pull it without any cut wires & ship to Georgia.

OSRAM VS. PHILLIPS This is about buying replacement bulbs for the WD62327 TVs.I dont know about the other models but I purchased a PHILLIPS replacement bulb and it worked for about a week and then those dumb flashing lights and no TV. I did some research and others were saying that you had to replace some condensers. Shop would do it for 600 dollars..Well i sent the bulb back and bought an OSRAM replaement bulb. The TV is now working perfect.
