You will need to run it through its cycles to get it to drain.

Siemens front load washing machine. Cloth stuck between the door and the panel. Can't open the door. F23 appears.

the tub beneath the washer is full and is not draining. the clothes have probably opened up the seal between the door and washer allowing water to leak. tip the machine and empty the sump to clear error.

Water not draining my ge washer will ot drain the water. it is spinning but not draining. i took out all the clothes and set it to spin and drain but it wont drain the water. what to do? can i do it...

It spins, but doesn't pump If your washer spins but doesn't pump the water out, the drain line is probably clogged. In many washers, a small sock or other piece of clothing can get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds the water. If the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into the drain hose that's attached to the pump--or even into the pump itself. If it's in the pump, you need to remove the hoses from the pump and pull the item out.

To remove the sock from the outer tub port, open the washer's main access panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, using needle-nose pliers, try to grab and remove the clothing through the port.

Sometimes you can't remove the stuck clothing from below. Then you have to remove the agitator, top of the outer drum shield, and inner clothes tub. This isn't easy to do--and you may need special tools--so you might be happier getting a qualified appliance repair technician to do the job.

Non of the answers are helpfull. Unplug power.Remove bottom panel and there you find a door lock release. Pull n the door will unlock. Drain water from from pum(it has drain tube). Remove clothes. Move n push the tub a little on each side. Now plug drain pipe. Close door n put it to spin. Should work

Washer stopped cloths stuck in washed as the door won't open

if there is water in the machine you can use a wet dry shop vac and aatch it to the end of the drain hose and remove the water once the water is removed the door should open.
then you need to make sure that there is not restrictions with the drain pump or hoses

I have an Electrolux EW 548 F Washing machine. It stopped while in a cycle and it won't continue or let me open the door to get the clothes out.

Hello,
It sounds as if something has got stuck in the filter jamming the drain pump, try draining the water out either through the filter but beware of the amount of water.Or take the drain pipe at rear and try to drain iinto a container or through the nearest door to an outside drain.Once the water is out you should be able to open the door. Then you will have to find out if some object is stuck in the filter(located at bottom right hand side).

Door wont open laundry stuck in there now since Friday night...This product S-----!! NOT TO MENTION ALL THE MOLD ISSUES ALREADY...

you can use a wet dry shop vac and attach it to the end of the drain hose to remove the water.
if the water comes out fairly rapidly you may need to replace the drain pump.

once the water has been removed you can open the door and remove the clothes.after everything is removed you need to remove both the hoses from the drain pump and look in it for any thing that will stop it from turning and or blocking the drain pump.

Water won't drain

Hi there,

If your washer spins but doesn't pump the water out, the drain line is probably clogged. If the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into the drain hose that's attached to the pump--or even into the pump itself. If the drain line isn't plugged, the problem may be with your pump. Even if the pump appears to be turning, the internal impeller may be broken. If so, you need to replace the pump.

Good Luck!!
Thanks

It won't drain If your washer won't drain, check these:

It spins, but doesn't pump
It doesn't spin or pump
It pumps, but the water returns

It doesn't spin or pump If your washer doesn't spin or pump water out but the motor is running, your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley. If so, you need to replace the pump. To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if it's frozen or stiff--replace it.

It pumps, but the water returns If the water that pumps out of the machine goes back into the machine after the spin cycle, your washer may be siphoning the water from a laundry tub that has a slow drain, back into the washer. The usual remedy for this is to improve the draining of the laundry tub. (Is something stuck in the drain?) Also, check for these problems:

  • If the drain hose reaches more than about 4 inches into the laundry tub, cut off the excess.

  • If your drain hose is lower than the washer's cabinet, install an air gap/siphon break assembly.

the washing machine must be empty for the door to open.
either open the trap at the bottom of your machine..prepare for flood!! or drop the grey drain hose to the floor and machine should empty.
