I have the same problem. Sometimes the camera works and sometimes it doesn't. I tried taking out the SD card and the camera works just fine with the internal memory. I'm trying to research which SD card will work best. Try taking out the card and see what happens.

If your not using lithium batteries, thats your problem.also these cards are very delicate.be gentle with them, and make sure you eject them before you take them out of the computer, that can cause big problems if you pull them without ejecting,be careful putting them everywhere, they can be currupt all kinds of ways.also be careful pushing and ejecting out of the camera.good luck i hope i helped,p.s too much heat,or demagneticiization in the airport etc.

I have a kodak easyshare c533 camera and it won't turn on. I tried new batteries but all it does is flash the green light. Any ways to fix this?

Green light flashed, turned red, lens would not open. Put in new rechargeable batteries, still nothing. Someone here suggested to try regular AA cheapie batteries. IT WORKED!

Not turning on

The batteries probably need to be replaced. Be sure that any batteries seat properly and tightly. You may have to tape the battery door shut with strong tape to keep the contact tight. This type of damage is expensive to repair compared to the cost of the cameras. You can take it in and have it looked at, but be sure to get an estimate and then you can make an educated decision on whether to repair or replace it.

Best wishes to you and Thank you for using Fix Ya!

I was borrowing the camera so the simple solution was quality long life batteries than the cheap versions (even though they were new) I had installed.

Plz help

remove the SD Card and the batteries. Wait for half an hour and then insert two new batteries. Do not put the SD card in as yet. (Waiting for half an hour or more allows the camera to reset itself).

Now try switching on and good luck.
