Everytime I use the flash on my camera, no matter which mode I am in, the camera freezes. When this happens I am unable to turn off the camera so I have to take the batteries in order to reset the camera. I've had the camera for 6 months, this started after less than two months of owning. The store where I purchased it will not replace or refund. Is there any solutions to this problem?
We have the same problem. Less than 6 months after using it the flash seems to lockup the camera and the only way to free it up is to remove the batteries.
Hopefully someone has a solution or answer.
I just read a couple of other posts that are suggesting using a different SD card. SDHC (class 4?). I'm going to try a different type to see what happens. If it works I'll post the brand etc.

I tried it and it's working perfectly.
Some SD/HC cards will cause this problem.
You need to upgrade the firmware to version 1,05.
