This problem can be an easy fix......... First, turn the Hot and Cold Water Valves Off that go to the washer. There are screens in the hoses and screens in the Water Connection Valve on the Machine and these can become clogged with residue and debris from the water over a period of time. Using a pair of channel locks, small pipe wrench, or pliers, unscrew the hoses from the Supply Valve and the Washer. If they are rusty, you should use WD40 to help loosen the rust. After removing the hoses, inspect the ends to see if the screens are clogged. Consider the condition and age of the hoses in this inspection. If the hoses look bad and were hard to remove, it is best to replace them. Take a flashlight and look into the back off the washer where the hoses connect. There should be screens in the holes. Clean these and replace old or new hoses. Sometimes you must remove the cover plate where the hoses go into the machine and replace the water valve switch. To do this, turn off both water supply lines and remove the hoses. Unplug the washer from the outlet. Now you can remove the water inlet part to the washer. You must take this part to a Dealer and get one from them. They are not usually hard to remove and replace, Thus saving you a service call......But hopefully it is just clogged or old hoses. Hope this helps with your problem........Joe

First check the screens inside the hoses to make sure they are not clogged. Next trouble could be the inlet valve where the hoses connect then the lid switch. Hope that helps.

Star washing went get to rinse circle stop, press stop bottom and start bottom tries to start but not work

if you're saying it dies in the rinse cycle you could have a problem with your cold water not coming into the washer, the washer only uses cold water in rinse cycle,no cold water the washer won't run,try starting it just with cold water and see if it fills,if not bad water valve or problem with water in house valve or bad hose.

WHIRLPOOL DUET WASHER THE WASH LIGHT IS NOT LIGHTING UP WHEN WASHER IS STARTED AND THEN I GET "LF" CODE

LF flashes when the water level does not change for a period of time after the valves are turned on OR water has disengaged the basket but control does not detect a water level change.
Is water supply connected and turned on?
Are hose screens plugged?
Is water entering the tub? If so check pressure hose connection to machine/motor control.

Washer says no water on most cycles so I'm unable to use the clean washer cycle to get the smell out

What exactly is your concern? Are you not getting enough water to start any cycle? Or are you trying to sanitize and clean the unit before a full cycle use?

I bought a honda pressure washer power boss 3000. I load the gasoline, start the machine, but pressure water is not coming out from the trigger. i tried so many things , but can t get started.

If you are using a water tank for water supply, remove the water supply line from the pressure washer and connect a water hose from a faucet. Turn the water on, then crank the engine. Pull the trigger of the spray gun until water comes out. When then water starts to spray properly the release the trigger, shut engine down with pressure on the line then reconnect the water supply from the tank to the pressure washer. If this fixes the problem then the problem was "air-locked"! Happens alot with new pressure washers that have never been run. The whirlpool washer i have used for 10 years broke, beyond the point of fixing. I bought a new washer moved it in, but in the process realized that there is still water in the old washer and i can't find...

There is no actual drain plug. The water is pumped out by the machine. You could take the back of the washer apart to get to the pump but I think the easiest thing for you to do would be to scoop the water out into a bucket by hand or siphone the water out using a hose. If you get a long water hose you can stick one end into the washer and the other to a downstairs sink. Then **** on the hose on the downstairs end to start the water to move into the hose. Once you get the water started it should siphone the rest out on its own due to gravity.

I get a check water tap error 2 to 4 times a load

I have this problem. This code is due to restriction of water flow. In my case, we have sand in our water, and I have installed a filter between the water line and the washer. When it gets clogged, the flow is restricted and the Check Water Tap message appears. Your washer has filters on the back of the washer itself that may be clogged and need cleaning (which is why I installed the water filter between the washer & water line to prevent it from getting into the washer filter). Your washer manual shows you how to check/clean them. Also, you may have low water pressure during summer months due to lawn watering in your area that could cause this lower water pressure.

My washer doesn't get enough water in it to wash properally. There isn't a water level knob on the washer. Its a frontloading whirlpool.

There is most likely nothing wrong with the washer. Front load washers will only fill about 2 inches of water in the tub. As the load starts to tumble, water is absorbed into the clothes, causing the water level to drop. The machine senses this and adds more water. The process continues until the water level stabilizes. (thus no need for a water level switch) Your clothes should get wet, but you will little if any water. If you use a gentle cycle you will get slightly more water, as the washers tumble at the same speed for all cycles, but give a more gentile wash if there is more water in the drum.
Also,..... remember because you have so little water in a front load washer (compared to most all top loader models) you want to use only 1 to 2 (max) tablespoons of HE detergent per load!

Water keeps running.......

i assume washer never starts running if not suspect water level switch or connection hose also be sure small hose to switch is not plugged or mashed flat even a small hole in hose may cause it not to get pressure to tell switch drum is full ..if washer does start running suspect bad water valve may not be shutting off

Kenmore heavy duty 70 series washer

The washer starts on a fill cycle. If it's not getting any water check the screens in the valve where the water line hooks to the back. If it is getting water but not filling up pull up on the drain hose. If it is to far down the drain it can **** the water right out of the unit.
