The part broke off for me too. i found the part at http://www.oakcanopy.com/vkp1012-6n.html and put in shopping cart, and chose usps priority mail and the shipping was $4.80. it was delivered within 2-3 days. next time you might select another mail carrier when ordering.

I just went to the site, and it looks like they changed the link. For others with the Victorio or Back to Basics Grain Mill, the nylon washer and replacement nut is at http://www.oakcanopy.com/vkp1012-6n.aspx

Same here. I called the customer service number on the instruction pamphlet that came with the mill. 1-800-688-1989. This put me in touch with the company. It has been sold and is different from what is printed. Focus Electric is the name of the new guys. They can take phone orders for this and any other part. this one is called "Nylon Washer" and is currently part number U 10-47. You can order it for $1.75 with shipping cost at $7.95. You can also mail them a check at Focus Electric PO Box 2780 West Bend, Wisconsin 53095. They have a web site but it is new and under construction. I hate that I have to pay more for shipping then the part but this mill is worthless without it. Any ideas about some other washer or rigged part that would make this work the next time I lose this little ******? Maybe I should have ordered 2! *grins*

Motor won't start when bowl locked in position

Hi, I had the same problem with my KitchenAid KFP740. The fix was the handle cap was loose. We all have a tendency to lift the unit out of the cabinet by the handle and it is heavy! The handle has a mechanism inside. The outside piece of the handle that holds it all inside gets loose making the pin at the bottom of the bowl not reach where it needs to be when you put the lid on. If you assemble the unit and squeeze the top of the handle after you put the lid on mine would work. A little gorilla glue and I was back in business!

The Cuisinart 7 cup food processor will not start?

Check out this options Remove the work bowl completely. Turn the machine on and use a pen to depress the dark grey or black button on the base of the Food processor. If the motor doesn't spin, it needs repair. If there is spinning:Make sure the handle of the bowl is facing the front of the food processor. Place the lid tab just to the left of the handle and slide it toward the handle until it won't turn anymore. Remove the pusher sleeve from the lid and reinsert it with the lock facing the front of the food processor. Slide the lock into the locked position. If it still doesn't work, replace the third piece on the work bowl - the one piece that you haven't replaced. It will then work. This will help. good luck.

Back to Basics wheet grinder parts missing

I think you might be looking for the nylon washer and replacement nut? You might want to check out Oak Canopy Exchange. It looks like they have it as parts to the grain mill. http://www.oakcanopy.com/backtobasicsgrainmillhandcrankmanualgrinder.aspx Good luck! It took me awhile to find the part too!
