ultrex double cool touch stainless steel deep fryer model 14248, never used, first time we tried to use it, did not heat the oil. date attempted to use 15 jan 09. it is brand new.

I believe there is a reset switch within the vat. Make sure there is power to the outlet. Try to turn the T'stat wide open to get it to click. If you don't have one, the connection may not be good.Let me know how you do.
