Just call net10 and look for technical support and wait for the option talk with a representative....say that you was playing with the cell phone options and don't know why the phone now display that message...they will give you a big code that you need to enter in the (menu>prepaid>code entry mode> enter the code>press ok), the phone will display "code accepted" go back to your home screen and that's it! phone come back to normal...
i had the same problem i was pissed but heres the solution that helped me.
1. go to www.tracfone.com
2.then go to service & support and click on technical support
3.then enter your phones serial number in the "Report Technical Difficulties" box.(to get your serial number go on your phone hit menu,then hit prepaid,then hit serial number.)then hit submit.
4.then once you hit submit scroll all the way down to "prepaid disabled unit disabled".
5.then click contiue once you get there then just follow the steps along the way.
if you have entered the puk code wrong around 10 times you have disabled the sim card, you can cut the sim card into peaces and throw it out from the window since you will have to contact your phone service provider for another sim card or if you have prepaid buy another set.
before throwing the sim card away I suggest you contact the service provider to see if they can help you. if the card isnt blocked yet.. or if you can still enter a puk code you might be able to fix it by calling the provider and getting the correct code if not, its useless card.
So have you contacted your service provider? The sim card is blocked, either you have entered the pin code wrong 3 times - then it asked for puk code and you have entered puk code wrong 10 times so its become locked.
your only option is to call the phone service provider, or buy a new sim card / prepaid sim card.
I had the same problem . After entering wrong code numbers,it disables the phone after four tries. The only way to get it back is to call customer service at 800-867-7183 . press 1 for english. the next menu press 4 and the last menu press 5 to talk live to technical support. They will not ask you what you were doing to disable it.They will have you go to code feature off my prepaid menu and you must type in the 24 digit code they give you and then press ok.Then you are back in service with no charge.
