Question about Wurlitzer Jukebox 1015 One More Time 100-Disc CD Changer

1 Answer

Volume will just blast real loud

After I have played my Wurlitzer 1015 for awhile the sound will all of a sudden get real loud. When I try to turn it down with the volume control located on the back, it will not lower the volume. I have to turn the jukebox off for awhile and then turn it back on. Then it works ok for awhile but eventually does it again.

If you have a remote control , unplug the lead from the volume control (at the back of the machine) and instead of it plugging into the Inrfa Red control unit in the base of the cabinet, plug it straight into the amp volume input.
There has been problems with the remote that does what you are suggesting so this will prove the point.

I purchased a used Wurlitzer 1015, question When selecting number 51 is a code number 82 and does not play can you explain me this, what the problem is thanks

The number of Cds in the carousel can be set on the Credit unit to stop it playing fresh air if for example you only have 50 Cds and not a whole 100. Sounds like yours is set to 50 so won't play anything over 50.
I 'think' this is what you do.
On the computer credit unit...
Service Switch ON...Press LT button.
Press 5 on the keyboard once.
Enter 0000
Service Switch off.
Press LT or turn machine off/on.

I have a 1015 OMT vinyl machine that randomly develops a loud hum from time to time while playing a record. Turning off the machine for an hour makes it go away. I have ground lifted the AC power cord but...

Your problem is either in the amplifier board (I can repair these) or the cable going to the cartridge on the tone arm (I stock these). When the machine is making the humming noise, unplug the cable from the tone arm at the top left side of the amplifier...If the sound goes away, I'd suspect the cable. If the sound continues, I'd suspect the amplifier board. Please fee free to email for more assistance, tech@wurlitzer-ohio.com.

.You can if you ue a "background music adaptor" which allows a second source of music to be played through the amp.

Arrange the volume of your jukebox without using the remote

In earlier models you plugged either the remote box OR the volume control box into the same socket on the amp. If you still have the volume control box simply plug it in where the remote is plugged in.

Hello I just recently bought a wurlitzer 2204 jukebox at an aution I cannot get it to play the records the belts are turning, the lights are on and all the blast are lit not sure what is going on, the...

First thing's first.
At power up is the turn table turning? Is the drive motor turning? If so then the jukebox thinks it is playing a record. What happens when you press the cancel button on the back of the machine?

You should check the fuses anyway. Make sure they are the RIGHT value or you will just end up frying your jukebox if you get a serious short.
