Possible causes, from most obvious to least: bad light bulb, pull chain in off position, if it has a remote the reciever might be bad, bad wall switch, loose wire in ceiling box or switch box. Hopefully it's one of those.

Did you check the old bulb in another lamp or check the new bulb in the fan yet. The light has a it own switch and you gotta access it's wiring to it to check it out.

Ceiling fan remote control doesn't work

Sounds like you have an add-on remote. Try changing the frequency in the receiver & transmitter. If that doesn't work you probably need a new receiver.

Lights fan and carosel do not work

tricky one. common denominator to all parts not working could be open neutral track at back of the circuit board, or possibly a relay not switching correctly.Need testing equiptment for that.

Ceiling fan with light and remote stopped working

It's most likely the receiver for the remote (transmitter) -- it's located under the cover at the top of the fan -- will need replacing.

Lights don't work

Don't know if I can solve it, but it is a Home Depot private lable. Try googling it and see if you can get some info. I suspect that you either hooked it up wrong, or it has damaged contacts.

Not working

How old is it? If it is more than a couple of years old, the motor windings for highest speed probably failed. They can not be repaired as cheaply as buying a new fan.

Diminished light

When our 2-year-old niece got hold of our Hampton Bay fan remote, we learned from her actions that holding down the button that controls the upper or lower light will, after a pause, either brighten or dim that light. Our fan is older than yours, but perhaps yours works the same way?
