Question about Microsoft Office Professional 2007 Full Version for PC

2 Answers

My computer has been upgraded to Office 2007. I want to type a single file label. I went to Mailings instead of tools as before and selected labels. However, I cannot find an Option for Avery template 5266. Formerly, I was able to select the Option and then press New Document to see a blank page of the labels. What are the steps in Office 2007 please?

You're close. After selecting labels, select the options tab at the bottom. Then, under Label vendors, choose Avery US Letter. Then scroll in the window to find 5266.

Can you print address on envleope

Yes you can print an address on an envelope. Do you have Microsoft Office? If so, click on new office document and click the tab that says Letters & faxes (for versions before 2007) and choose the label wizard. When the window opens, click the tab that says envelope instead of label and follow the prompts to type in the information you want to print on yoru envelope.

If you have Office 2007 - or newer, click on new office document and then choose blank document. Click on the tab at the top that says mailings and then choose envelope and type in the information you want to print on your envelope. Then click on file, and print. You will need to load your envelopes in the printers tray and put them in the correct direction according to the settings your machine requires. You might need to waste a few envleopes until you get it right.

How do I print envelopes with my HP C6180

There are 2 parts to doing this.
1. You need to use an appropriate application. ie. MS word In the word application you need to select the envelope type. this varies depending on what version of word you use. Use this link if you use 2007/2010. If you use 2003, then go to tools-> letters and mailings -> envelopes and labels.
2. When you go to print the document, use the option File -> print. Then click on preferences. Select the paper type "envelope".

How do I get my hp deskjet 6940 to print labels. I'm trying to print Avery 5498 labels

You will have to use software to make the labels...like Microsoft Office Word, Open office Writer, or Microsoft Works. In MS Office Word (2003) go to tools->letters and mailings -> envelope and lables. Create the label you need.

If you use open office, go to File->New->Labels and create the label you need.

After which, you put the paper in the printer and print them out. May want to check out the size so you make sure it prints correctly.

-best of luck

How do i transfer a list of name to #02180/02181 avery

Microsoft word has the avery stuff in it. This is from another site

Try this:

In Word versions prior to Word 2007 (Vista):

1. Click the Tools->Letters and Mailings->Envelopes and Labels menu item.
2. Click the Labels tab.
3. Click the Options button.
4. Find that label in the list box. Avery tends to use four-digit product numbers, so I'd take a look at the 2181 type and see if it fits the size and description of your labels.
5. If you find it, select it and click OK.

From there, you can make a full page of the labels by clicking New Document, or, if you want to print the same label a few times, you can print a short batch directly with the dialog box.

In Word 2007:

1. Click the Mailings tab on the Ribbon.
2. Click the Label icon.
3. Continue with Step 3, above.

Hope that helps.

Now not sure what make your label is, so you will need to locate it from the list. If that isn't possible.

Goto Details - and enter the dimensions of your label and save for future use.
