Question about HP OfficeJet 7310 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

My HP officejet 7310 won't work

When turning power on, power light lights up but nothing else works. LED screen is black. di-di-di sounds when pushing ANY button. However, printer DOES print when copying from computer screen.
Took unit into HP rep store, Best Buy. They said they probably could not have it fixed due to no parts available. Please help/suggestions?

If recycling the power doesn't work, it's uneconomical to have repaired.

HP Officejet 7310 All-in-One Power will not turn on

I am thinking that this is well over a year old, but if not, even if it is under warranty, consider the cost of shipping it back VS a new one.

If you could access the power button you could do a continuity
test and see if it is the power button. Then if that is ok, what is it.

I don't believe that the HP site has a checker,so if you did not register you would have to check your receipt. Then you have to get a RMA, but if it is under warrant it might be worth it.
If you have any questions please post back, everyone is more than willing to help.

If you can get the covers off. push down on piece that is blocking the cartridges. Otherwise, it is uneconomical to repair.

OfficeJet 7310 FAX issue

Did anything happen prior to the issue? It almost sounds as if the DC controller (main board) has gone bad. What happens if you try to make a copy on it?
