ITs the three red dots of death , what i mean is they had that all over and had millions of people had to recall them, i guess your just getting crapy xbox's my friends xbox did that, he took to a shop to get it fixed, but they couldnt, so i guess your sol, get xbox 360 elite they hardly had any problems with those.

if the on/off switch is showing you a red light it means that you have to call xbox for assistance for the console

That is called the red ring of death. There is nuthing much you can do iv hurd that you could wrap your xbox 360 in towels and let it run so it over heats and reboots itself but i would not recoment this. You might have to call xbox and send it in so they can fix it. Your problem is within your mutherboard on ur xbox 360.

How may lights are showing up?

3 red light is GPU and the CPU overheating,

2 red lights is general overheating

1 red light is E74 and 4 red lights is the av cable.

For the 1, 2, 3, red lights you will need to get it fixed you can either send it in to do this or repair it yourself

sorry man ur xbox 360 i done for its ur video chip that has gone. u can try this but if it dont work than thats it for ur xbox 360. disconect the xbox 360 fans. let it heat up a little than if u see two red lights disconnected for 20 minutes than try it if it dont work ur xbox is done for.
