Cam keeps freezin up when i use it on yahoo messenger

Turn Vlounge OFF when using the camera with Skype, Yahoo Messenger or whatever

I had the same problem... unhook the webcam, uninstall the drivers & rehook it up & let it install them again & go to Philips website & download the update & reboot computer. Works great!

I have the same problem in that yahoo, IM won't recognize it. My solution I'm taking the piece of **** back.

Normal 0 How much memory do you have installed in your computer? It may need to be increased as this is likely to be the cause of your computer freezing.

I brought a philips spc110NC Web camera its just a plug in and work and it works fine on msn, but i do not know how to work it on yahoo, does it really works on yahoo and how should i let it work? thank you

Just uninstall your Yahoo messenger and install a fresh copy.

start by logining mesngr... and clik messenger tab... top left scroll down to my webcam...clik it should fade to video.

Guys I got one (SPC110NC ) today and it behaved as follows

1. Plug and play .. so windows XP (SP2) recognised it instantly.
2. images were recorded from the general webcam application (defaalu XP one ).
3. Skype however gave the error that was somewhat like " Skype cannot access ur webcam etc ..."

Apparently for Skype 3 and higher u need a special driver .. which u can get at

The user manual doesnot specify the exact url of the drivers , though it specifies the need of installing them.

Get the driver , install it and skype hopefully will work fine. it worked for me after this 30 min exercise ...

This camera is a problem. I download the driver and never function. Is better change it for another brand.
